LITTLETON BLUEGRASS JAM - creating play time for all ages and all abilities of bluegrass lovers since May of 2025.
What started as a seed of an idea in 2023 became the Littleton Bluegrass Jam in May of 2025. Bluegrass music brought three friends together to plan a friendly jam for the north country of New Hampshire. Patti Slavtcheff (of The Mother Pluckers), Mary Choate (of The Back Shed and The Back Shed String Band) and songwriter/artist/musician Kim Darling met for breakfast to plan and scheme. Banjo player and good friend Sheila Stein has never missed a Jam and is the honorary fourth founder. Shortly thereafter, The Littleton Bluegrass Jam landed at The Loading Dock in Littleton, NH. (https://www.theloadingdocknh.com). Held every second and third Sunday afternoon from 3pm-5pm, it’s open to the public. All players and listeners are welcome! https://www.facebook.com/LittletonBluegrassJam/
“A jam is always a surprise! It could be three people or it could be fifteen. It could be new faces, old friends, people visiting from other states, beginners, experts, or just people who like to come and listen. What is always the same, no matter who comes to the Jam, is that everyone ends up with a smile on their face. We make new friends, share music and laugh a lot!”
